Seed Swap!
Drop.Swap.Grow. will be hosting a Seed Swap in St. Louis on Saturday, February 25 from 12-3pm.I know it’s hard to fathom with blustery winds and the crisp chill in the air, but it really is time to start thinking about the garden!
The second annual spring SEED SWAP is right around the corner and we’re so excited to be hosting this fun event again on Saturday, February 25 from noon to 3. We’re changing locations to accommodate a larger crowd than last time (it was a wee bit cozy last year) but it will still be very conveniently located in south city. In fact, if you can find the Botanical Gardens, you’re golden. We’ll be in basement of The Word at Shaw, 4265 Shaw Blvd, St Louis, Missouri 63110. The nice folks over there have kindly offered us their space to use for the swap. Yay for nice people!

Dear Friends. I am interested in participating in your seed exchange. But I don’t know about The Word at Shaw, 4265 Shaw Blvd, St Louis, Missouri 63110. Google indicates that it’s a church. It seems to me that some kind of standard might help. ie. The trader might indicate the year for the seeds, where purchased, as well as the trader’s name? What is the typical quantity traded? I’m looking for bok choi seeds. Am I likely to find these? Lastly, I happened on you folks searching for seed suppliers in St. Louis. There’s a good one in Valley Park–http://www.valleyparkelevator.com/
Thanks.

John,
Please visit the event website for all the details about the swap. We are borrowing space from a church for the event and it will be in their basement. http://www.dropswapgrow.com. I don’t know what seeds will be brought by whom, it’s very possibe bok choi will be in the mix, but I can’t promise. The swap is free and open to the public, people are free to bring whatever they like. If you have any additional questions feel free to email me at dropswapgrow@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Holly
