Description: Top local chefs will compete to see who has the best grass-fed beef burger. The winning chef will be awarded $500 to a local charity of his or her choice.
NOTE: Chef Cary McDowell, Winslow’s Home & Farm, will be cooking for Slow Food St. Louis. If his burger wins, the prize money is donated to Slow Food! We like that.
How do they win? Well, you decide!
Come by and sample all the entries, then cast your vote for the best burger. Your vote will automatically enter you to win a new outdoor grill. Voting ends at 8:00pm, and Whole Foods will announce the winner at 8:15pm.
A second winner will be chosen by Catherine Neville, publisher of FEAST Magazine, and the Whisnants, Whole Food’s grass-fed beef producers. But that’s not all! We will have live music from Swing DeVille and beer tastings from Schlafly.
