Baetje Farm Speaks at SloWednesday

July 8th, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Event

Join us at Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Ave, 63143) for tonight’s installment of the SLOWednesday series.

Baetje Farms is a farmstead creamery, meaning they produce the milk used in the cheese they make. No hormones or antibiotics are used and the goats get filtered spring water from an inspected spring on their farm and are fed an all natural diet. They make fresh (not aged) cheese seasoned with certified organic herbs and a variety of aged cheese with both bloomy and washed rinds. They are dedicated to bring the finest quality, French-style cheeses to St. Louis tables. Come hear how they do it!

SLOWednesday events take place at the Bottleworks in the Crown Room. Schlafly asks that everyone interested in ordering food and drink place their orders and be settled in before the 7:30 start time. Events are free and open to the public.
